The Mandibular Decompression Appliance or Decompression Splint (DCS) is used for patients presenting with pain, TMJ dysfuntion and can be valuable diagnostically. At S4S we have highly skilled technicians that will articulate your models and build into the design of the DCS a pivot on the first molar region to restore the patients' Shimbashi' measurement to a value that is more normal.
